I needed some escapism today. I brought out one of my favorite sci-fi wargames, Steve Jackson's Ogre. Here, my PanEuro forces are getting a shalacking by the Combine Ogre that shrugs off my attacks while dispatching my units with contempt. It's up to the infantry to save my CP now! #Ogre #Wargaming

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

Make no mistake, this is Minority Leader Schumer's surrender. He either lost control of his own caucus, making Angus King the actual minority leader now, or Schumer engineered a "good cop, bad cop" show where he let King take the blame for his deal. Either way, @schumer.senate.gov must be removed.
