An amazing desert garden in normal years and even more so during blooms. Beautiful.
I had an idea once. Results weren’t this good though!
Make art, not friends. Or in my case, avoid both.

"Thanksgiving"
Colorado Plateau, 2019

If you forced me to select my favorite photo I've ever made, this would be the first one to come to mind. I titled it Thanksgiving because of its color palette, but also because so many great things were happening in my life that I was immensely grateful for.
By that you mean you’re also a fan of your own work? If so, the feeling is mutual.

That is so cool. Doesn’t get more Yellowstone than that!
Foggy morning at Mt. Rainier. I like photographing in all kinds of light but perhaps get a little more excited about warm light through moving fog.
They really do look like this! These dunes are surprisingly reflective - especially at dawn and dusk.
This is what brown sand dunes look like when intense red clouds fill the sky. What a morning!

So happy to see so many great photographers here where the sky is blue. 😍 Here's my contribution to the Friday #scape theme: The Rostrum formation in Yosemite's Merced River Canyon.

I loved this image even before I created it. When I came upon this scene, I felt that warm and tingly feeling I get when finding something special.

Love the color palette here!
This is just incredible- happy to see you here!
Cheers to NA-6495! What a cool project!
Thanks Chris! These patterns are like fractals, you can keep zooming in and finding more cool stuff. Wish I had a 3000mm lens.
That is super cool (warm)!
Ephemeral patterns that arrive at night and are gone in the afternoon. From a chilly morning in Yosemite Valley.
Can’t believe I made the list!
