I wrote 2 four thousand word essays in a 6 hour period on the day they were both due while wacked out on caffeine pills. Probably didn't get an A but you bet I passed both classes. Time constraints are where I excel. Gotta sweat a little to work some magic.

I wrote a 15 page report on heraldic symbolism in medieval armor and weapon design for my art history class the night before it was due (8am class). Made up 90% of it (only found one book for reference) and got an A. GenAI could fucking never.

wrote 20 pages on Faulkner's The Bear four hours before final papers were due on trucker pills and coffee and cigarettes and got an A, fuck you.

As far as rage games go, I think it's pretty great! The difficulty is a lot more dynamic than I expected - most of the hardest challenges are optional, and when you lose progress, you often fall into a spot you haven't previously explored. Plus, they've got lots of hats and fruits to find!

Been playing Baby Steps on the steam deck, and the only thing I've hated about it is that it crashed and deleted my save when I was nearing the end

The main character of Baby Steps, Nate, lying face down in...well... it's probably a river of milk? Low-key, it might not be. Also you can see the moon. It is a butt.

ELDEN RING: SHADOW OF THE ERDTREE - I made the mistake of playing this on my new game plus file, and I set it aside for a year after getting stuck on Messmer (I was mad). Not a fan of its leveling system, and Radahn can eat my ass, but it's (a fuckton) more Elden Ring, and that's still good.
