To mark the 959th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings here are four Sussex scenes from the Bayeux Tapestry:
1. Bosham Church.
2. The Norman invasion fleet sail into Pevensey.
3. Castle built at Hastings
4. Norman cavalry runs into the 'Malfosse', (yet to be located natural or defensive ditch) 🏺

I love this because my daughters went there when we were in Princeton. (The school, staff, and teachers were lovely) Its been a few years but I can still picture the nearby houses/streets where the parking drama unfolds :)
I am grateful for the return of the remaining hostages, may their return bring relief to their families and loved ones. There are many more people who still mourn and suffer. I hope that this day is the first step towards a just and lasting peace for Palestine and Israel. truah.org/press/north-...

Very with you on the haunted object as a story! I'm a sucker for big or small "creature" monsters.
Really interesting find! When I was at Poplar Forest in VA there was a massive rats nest on display which was a source of some of the house's original 18th/19th century textiles.
If I could get a good “Joyeuse” replica I might go for that look

Credit where credit is due; its good to read about a pause in strikes. I hope it holds!
Great interview! Jamelle B always has a thoughtful perspective. (I appreciated the Dune reference)
