Recent study* confirms that unexpectedly napping in your office chair can cause you to be late to, or otherwise miss, meetings.

*Study was performed today, by me.

Good save, kiddo. Good save.
7yo: We’re probably going to be two minutes late because of the traffic.

Me: No. Probably because you were dressing up your bear when I told you to get ready.

7yo: That’s what I meant; I’m the traffic. 😉.

I cut my thumb, requiring six stitches. I was putting a computer together with a friend. I was fitting in the motherboard case connector insert; it pushed out the opposite side and I jammed my thumb into the case edge.

I held a sock to it during the drive to the ER.
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.

😅

Why. To what end. Wegmans does not need biometric information from its customers for any legitimate reason.
Are you willing to hand over your biometric data next time you need some bananas? Wegmans has posted signs at its New York City stores warning customers that their biometric data is being collected.

It really delights me how the most agreed upon Kpop Demon Hunters fanon lore is that the honmoon protected us all from 2012 catastrophes because PSY powered it when he dropped Gangnam Style

I was an extra on The Guild, and during filming I was standing in for one of the cast. @felicia.day took her spot in the scene next to me and proceeded to be quite silly in making faces before a take.

Bonus feel-good nugget - being an extra on The Guild led me to many of my closest friends in SoCal
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

We played “Life’s a Happy Song” on my kiddo’s smart speaker. A couple songs later it, on shuffling “similar” music, played “Two Beavers Are Better Than One”

I’m sorry WHAT

Absolutely not. Because AI is *not* my dead relative. I will treasure the time I had with them, but AI - which stands for *artificial* intelligence - is not my family member.

It will never be me, either, if I have my druthers.

As rainy as it always is in Portland, I sure have been lucky in getting clear stretches on Wednesday evenings to take the wee one on stroller walks while her older sister does gymnastics.

It’s clearly a conspiracy aimed at my favorite holiday.

Or, y’know, the fact that kids are germ superfactories.
Last year I had pertussis and pneumonia on Thanksgiving while nursing and infant. So this year I’m…sick again.

My childhood best friend and I were competitive with each other. He didn’t yet have Internet access and I did. So I decided to make a website, because he couldn’t one-up that.
