Vaccines are safe and effective.

Autism isn't caused by vaccines, and autistic people and their families deserve our support.

When you want information, ask your doctor.

It's more important than ever for all of us to speak plainly, truthfully, and directly about public health.

The fascists hide the truth or bend it with lies so the public ends up misinformed and mistrusting the truth sayers — like scientists and honest journalists. Johnson and Trump called millions of us “haters of America” because we are choosing to stand up for truth & democracy on Oct 18th. Stand Up!

Who is Russell Vought cutting at our health agencies? The data people. The scientists. The comms people.

Project 2025 is a war on truth.
We are fighting an information war.

Sources of reliable truth are who they are after.

More CDC Cuts :: NCHS Edition 📊🔫

At least 1/3 of the staff at the National Center for Health Statistics has been cut (and remain cut). This is catastrophic for our nation’s health data.

Say goodbye to national health statistics that you can trust, healthcare surveys, NHANES and data systems.

Heroic infectious disease investigators protecting the United States were smeared and laid off. They now have to put their shattered lives back together.

Strange site Saturday at Richmond airport - muscular young men unloading huge boxes from luggage return belt. Airport personnel then brought out long rectangular plastic cases, each secured with 2 padlocks. These clearly were weapons cases, and likely ICE personnel. Sickening. We have to stop this.

What are the odds that RFK read the WHOLE abstract on this important study?

Acetaminophen/Tylenol use during pregnancy was not associated with children’s risk of autism, ADHD, or intellectual disability in sibling control analysis. This suggests associations observed in other, less rigorous analyses may have been attributable to familial confounding (aka erroneous finding):

Very interesting. My own recent experience echoes the red curve. But clearly there are many grants that have been cancelled altogether— e.g. DEI-related. Our institution had 5 T32 grants cancelled. Does your figure somehow miss these issues?

Updated funding curve (with two weeks to go in the fiscal year)

A graph showing NIH grant funding for fiscal years 2015-2024 and 2025 showing that fiscal year 2025 was lagging behind the pace from other years, but has been catching up in July and August.

Vaccinations have been so successful that “there's been a collective forgetting that measles, and mumps, and rubella—these used to be diseases that would kill people in fairly large numbers,” the Nobel laureate Jennifer Doudna tells Jeffrey Goldberg.

All the administration attacks on the media and particularly comedians, make me feel we are living in Hungary or Russia. That is how it starts — the loss of free speech. There is only one way to stop it - stand up, speak out, write Congress, campaign and vote for freedom — peacefully but strongly!

That way they can appoint people that would possibly not get approved — and will do what RFK wants.

We are witnessing a full blown war on science, public health & truth itself.

Let me be clear: Vaccines have prevented more than 1.1 million deaths, 500 million cases of illness & 32 million hospitalizations.

That's a lot of moms and dads who don't have to bury their children.

While it LOOKS like Trump is making everybody capitulate, you guys realize 6 people own 90% of ALL media in America?

There are not tens of thousands of people capitulating. There are just a few old men—lusting for more power—

& Trump is giving it to them!

That’s what Kimmel's cancellation means.

Walz: This is North Korea style stuff. And it's being done because this is a weak, thin skinned man who's failing as a president. All of the things he promised are not happening.

It's a it's our most cherished freedom to point out very clearly, this is a terrible president

Here's the upshot on hepatitis B vaccination at birth:
- it's extremely safe
- the earlier it's given, the better it protects against transmission from mother-to-child
- screening fails to capture many cases and is not done at all in many cases
- perinatal HBV infection is catastrophic

This isn't even a slight exaggeration. He is actively working on destroying the US's entire vaccine infrastructure. The HepB vote will be tomorrow, where they will get rid of the birth dose and recommend it at 30 days, dooming a bunch of infants to chronic infection ft. cirrhosis, cancer, and death.

It already depends on where you live. In 15 states you cannot get the COVID-19 vaccine without a Px. Thanks much RFK Jr.

The President of the United States just essentially declared a war on Chicago because — wait for it! — Black and Brown people live here.

This is not normal. This is not okay. And we are going to fucking fight back.
A TruthSocial post from Donald Trump, featuring an AI generated image of him in front of Chicago burning and under invasion with the words “Chipocalypse Now” near him stylized like the poster for the film Apocalypse Now. The text accompanying the post reads “‘I love the smell of deportations in the morning…’ Chicago about to find out why it’s called the Department of WAR 🚁🚁🚁”

I would put it stronger — RFK Jr needs to be fired immediately. Call/write your Senators and Representatives before he kills more people.

I’ve spent a good chunk of my career relying on American science and engineering to keep me alive. Yesterday, RFK Jr. testified at the U.S. Senate Finance Committee. It was sad to see him try to destroy the life’s work of so many American scientists. He shouldn’t be in this job.
