This was just a quick before-bed sketch but I like how it turned out enough to post. Lexl is coming into his own as a character, I think. He's young enough to still enjoy being a kid, and free enough that he doesn't worry about a whole lot.

Lexl's overall look is coming together nicely. These sketches went right to left in the order I drew them, so you can see how I'm getting his facial shape and hair more consistent. One upside of being taur-shaped: you can carry a much heavier backpack.

Leonardo Xanthus Leyendas, or "Leo" for short, is a 12-year-old liontaur kid based on some exploration of what kind of fursona I'd have chosen for myself if I'd known about the fandom at that age. I'm not sure what his story is yet, but he might not need his own lore yet.

We need more comfort and joy this holiday season. Their opposites are anxiety and depression and there's way too much of those going around.

If you'd asked me at 11 years old the standard "what animal would you want to be if you could be anything" question, I think my honest answer wouldn't have been a lot different than it is now. Some magical hybrid, possibly with shapeshifting powers, because that's just how I think.

I visited my friend last week and to my surprise, they told me that the kid I drew this dinosaur illustration for is still drawing now and then to this day!
That made my day.

Something I've always wanted to see in an RPG: no random drops. There shouldn't be a 1/128 chance to get a rare item from killing a monster. Instead, make them all based on weird conditions, like "poison this enemy before killing it" or "never do more than 1 point of damage to it".

Carmina is sensitive enough in matters of spirit that she can detect something's wrong with the captain. He even picked his crew specifically so they couldn't see it, but she can. A curse, following him like a second shadow, that's been there his whole life.

Bleurgh. I got next to no sleep last night because I've come down with food poisoning. I'll spare the gross details, but I'm fairly confident I know what caused it (the Indian food I got Friday night for dinner) based on the colors involved. Feeling rotten the whole time, but slowly improving.

Had an odd dream just now; the most interesting part was the sprite comic starring Blit and Simka that I apparently had written long ago and forgotten about. I might try to recreate how it looked.
