There were several catalysts to becoming a writer over my life, but when I was around twelve or thirteen there was an old fanfic series I loved (“Tekken Committee” by a writer who went by SaiyanRage). It was so funny to me, and it made me want to start writing my own stories.
With all this awful news going on i wanna ask this question once again to fellow artists and general creatives. What got YOU into art? what sparked that motivation to start writing? what made you wanna pick up a camera and start taking pics? Like share with us your reasons.

The album SLAUGHTERSUN (CROWN OF THE TRIARCHY) by Swedish band Dawn is one of the best black metal records I’ve ever heard.

Listening to one of my favorite records that isn’t available on streaming, Neal Morse Band’s THE SIMILITUDE OF A DREAM. I think you could probably find it on YouTube if you looked. It’s so goddamn good.

Heard about this scotch for years and always wanted to try it. Found a bottle for seventeen dollars and said fuck it.

I’m almost done with this collection and I wish more of Dino Buzzati’s short stories were available in translation, because he really excels at packing a lot into a handful of pages. I have his novel THE SINGULARITY on deck to hold me over, though, and I’m very excited about it.
Last night I started reading a collection of Dino Buzzati short stories (THE BEWITCHED BOURGEOIS). I’m only four pieces in so far but, man, I really dig his writing.
