If you'd like to know what kind of nerd I am, and I can't imagine why you would, every time I encounter 週末 in my Japanese vocab drills I stop and say
Okay. So. My version of this. I'm a middle aged bald bearded sysadmin. I like anime and comics and science fiction and gaming. I own a steam deck and VR gear.
At some point I had to just say "welp, stereotypes come to be somehow" and remind myself that there are also ways I don't lean into that 1/2

Having finished (for now) my depression bout from earlier I now appear to be in an extended anxiety attack. I have generalized anxiety disorder so this isn't exactly inexplicable but I'm still not a fan.

Oh also - lawyers aren’t allowed to tell jurors this so i do:
“Jury nullification” is a fancy phrase that just means, “This jury decided not to convict and there’s nothing anyone can do about that.”
If we think a law is unjust or unjustly enforced, we can just not convict. We don’t need a reason.

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

So our SCA (look it up) group has often held a newcomer fighting competition. The restriction is: you have to be willing to be in a newcomer tournament.
Same deal here. I would not (as my life is now) sign up for SNAP even if there were no other barrier to doing so, because I don't need it. Simple.
