Still suffering PTSD from River City Ransom's bullshit.

First time I beat RCR on original hardware, I absolutely beat it in one sitting so I wouldn't have to deal with passwords with random fake dakuten-turned-single quotes and other crazy gotcha.

We had gotten an Apple IIc from my wife's grandparents estate. We sold it on eBay and USPS destroyed it in transit. We insured it, but damn, IIc's weren't exactly common during their own time.

I think we had boxes for some Newton stuff, but not the actual items.

Folks, I don't recommend bundles very often, but I can absolutely confirm that Lake isn't the only indie game in this bundle that's a blast to play.

Both Beans and APICO are absolute gems worth playing.

The $10 was worth it for Lake alone, but YOWZA am I glad to be a "PC gamer" now.

What I spent part of my Facebook class action settlement on. Everything else is going towards groceries.

I _only_ digitally owned just the DLC for Lake on PS5, and I've been hoping to replay it on the SD going into the holidays. So this bundle was perfect.

It is, but only a crazy person would have paid $80 for it in 2000. But I also didn't think much of it since Master System games were rare (I was the only person I knew who had one), and I was trying to get all the definitive games at the time.

Used to have that, though not on my own. I love what I do, but company I was working for was owned by a private equity firm that cut me out as they were preparing to sell to a Big Name.

Self-employment has not been very profitable for me. In a rebuilding phase right now. Maybe Take 2 works?

Even crazier are the really out-there ones who certainly tried to become a thing but were nowhere near successfully. Like the Barbarian Brothers and Yahoo Serious.

I try to be careful about who I give my money to, but in a lot of cases, sometimes there's just no getting around it. Sometimes small businesses on eBay are Amazon dropshippers, and there's no way of knowing until they deliver.

Argubly owning an Android or iPhone in of itself is an ethical dilemma.
