Congresswoman serving Oregon’s Fourth District. Wife, Mom, former Labor Commissioner. Pro Union, Pro-Choice, Pro Democracy. #OR04
Dr. King believed in the power of solidarity to move our country forward. As we face incredibly challenging times, we are reminded that the time is always right to do what is right. We must come together to protect one another, speak up for what’s right and push for an America that works for us all.

This is no longer about enforcing immigration law at all.

I cannot fund an agency that has repeatedly abused its authority, violated due process and is operating in such a provocative manner under this administration.

I have signed on to impeach Kristi Noem. Not only has she unleashed an undertrained armed force of DHS agents to put our communities and local law enforcement at risk, but she is also fueling the President’s propaganda machine and attempting to normalize incredibly dangerous behavior.

TOWN HALL: I’m headed to Lane County with @repvalhoyle.bsky.social for a public town hall on 1/18 at 12:00 PM.

Hearing from Oregonians about the challenges they face and the issues they care most about shapes my work in the Senate—hope to see you there!

My first thoughts on the devastating shooting by DHS in Portland. I’m still trying to find the right words to convey everything I’m feeling, and I ask that we all stay calm.

BREAKING: ICE shot and killed a woman in Minneapolis, and the initial reports are horrifying.

This is not the first time Trump’s ICE has shot at civilians. We need ICE out of our cities and communities. www.mprnews.org/story/2026/0...

1/ 5 years ago today, armed insurrectionists stormed the Capitol to overturn the outcome of an election. I remember the horror I felt watching it happen. What was worse was watching our current President and Republican leaders gaslight the American people, calling insurrectionists normal tourists..

This week, I introduced the bipartisan SAW Act which would prohibit the use of snowmobiles to kill wolves and other species on federal lands. As others work to loosen protections, it is more important than ever that we stand together as responsible stewards of our federal lands and wildlife.
