At a press conference on Monday at the Lane County Health & Human Services building, Sens. Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley said Oregonians who buy their insurance through the A.C.A. marketplace will pay 68% more on average when new rates come out later this week.

White Bird Clinic has agreed to a settlement with a former CAHOOTS worker, after the employee claimed she’d been retaliated against for reporting a coworker’s sexual misconduct.

White Bird agreed to pay the plaintiff $600,000, according to her lawyer.

Oregon State fired coach Trent Bray on Sunday after the team fell to 0-7, its worst start to a season since 1991.

Robb Akey will be the interim head coach for the rest of the season pending a national search for Bray's successor, athletic director Scott Barnes said.

One of this weekend's biggest college football games is happening Saturday in Eugene when No. 3 Oregon hosts No. 7 Indiana. Both teams are undefeated at 5-0.

The Ducks/Hoosiers game is at 12:30 p.m. at Autzen Stadium and will be broadcast on CBS.

The University of Oregon has reopened the two oldest buildings on its Eugene campus, following structural upgrades, including new HVAC systems, disability accommodations, and steel and concrete supports.

University Hall opened in 1876, and Villard Hall opened in 1886.
