I love how they just let Jeff Bridges do The Dude again.

Beds made for students in the town of Inđija, about halfway between Belgrade and Novi Sad. Thousands of students are walking from Belgrade to tomorrow's commemoration ceremony in Novi Sad. They are spending the night in Inđija, where the local criminal town leaders are 🚫 any public accommodation.
Yes I'm fully aware this is grammatically nonsensical in Serbo-Croatian
I really hope this gets some kind of release in Brasil lol. Gotta see it.
“As an experiential descent into the six-fingered hell that awaits us all if resentful billionaires with God complexes get their way, it’s quite sobering,” writes Katie Rife in praise of director Radu Jude’s latest provocation, DRACULA. In theaters now:

The AI revolution has all the dignity of a dildo joke, and Radu Jude is happy to oblige.

This sounds so apocalyptic in the most mundane of ways
Mike Bassett: England Manager always one of my favourites
I guess that's why he names them things like Bittersweet Symphony and She Is Love, because they're all a pain in the ass to search for.
iirc, most Jamie Adams films revolve around him basically promising the actors they can just improv for a few weeks on set. I'm sure letting Tarantino riff for a whole film's worth will go well.
In a previous job writing LinkedIn posts for clients to sound smart, I wrote something almost exactly like this, partly as a joke and partly as "awful option so client will pick better ones" and they adored the awful option.
also, the director of the captain beefheart film should be somewhat deluded like the man himself, forcing the cast and crew to live as the band did for "realism"
Funnily enough I couldn't believe my luck that it was playing in my local multiplex in Brasil, and in the posho VIP room where tickets are at least double price. It got a few walkouts too, which is always nice to see.
Well I bet you've never been to Risca either.

Glauber Rocha spitting facts
Excellent list, but missing a single pick from Devils & Dust, which imo is maybe his best album.
Finally caught up to tronares and goddamn, this is a great film
I always chuckle when I remember when Gods of Egypt came out and was universally trashed, and he complained that the critics were like "a pack of vultures picking at a dying carcass", which also means he compared his film to a dying carcass.
I still don't use automated tanscription for interviews because it goes word-for-word, and my god, have you ever tried to read back what even the most erudite speaker says in an unscripted conversation like that?
I'm not calling it Tron: Ares, I'm calling it tronares
Excellent Serbian representation too
My contribution to this discourse is that I support Maitland Ward's right to do whatever she wants for her career.
I'm unfortunate enough to have seen Dracula and it is so godawful that, based on critic reactions, Frankenstein is at least a return to some kind of equilibrium
