I prefer to not buy American shit. I understand, however, that this is a luxury I can afford and not everyone can. One of the disappointing things about govt here is that they are not really prioritizing helping Canadians support Canadian businesses and workers. That needs to change too. #cdnpoli

Why does American healthcare cost so much more than every other developed country?
Short answer: our system is designed to be expensive.
Here’s the breakdown. 🧵👇

I want every Canadian on here to read this 🧵 I can’t believe some of the shit I hear from y’all about healthcare. The out-of-pocket costs will bankrupt you. So I encourage every Canadian who thinks it’s better down there to move to the U.S. and experience if a private system gives better care

Period.

This is an INTOLERABLE. UNPRECEDENTED. DANGEROUS. ATTACK. ON ALL OF US.

Does anyone know the contractual obligation Canada has WRT purchasing U.S. F-35 fighter jets, and whether the U.S. has violated any contract clauses related to security and/or usability of those jets by being able to deactivate F-35s at will remotely?

Let’s be clear on this: Danielle Smith is ripping up the Charter of Rights & Freedoms to take away rights from the most vulnerable people in Alberta. And she’s doing it to protect herself from the militant wing of her own party, nothing more. Hope it’s all she’s ever remembered for in the long run

National outlets not only didn't, they refused to. They thought it was tawdry and beneath them.
