I am a cat at heart, and the #1 thing I dislike about my house is that it's oriented in such a way that there are no spots to curl up in the sun for an afternoon nap. My forever home will have that and a fireplace.

The attacks on trans rights, which are basic human rights, are a terrible injustice and an attack on truth and fact as well. Everyone should be deeply alarmed and it should be disqualifying for a politician to support such discrimination.

Gonna second this, working in hospice.
This is my yearly PSA that, no matter how old you are, you should have a basic health directive and will. The forms are free online in California. The number of senior citizens in my neighborhood with no directives and no plan who are already a little off the rails is staggering. A short rant 1/

August 2002, Bio 101 for pre-med majors. Male professor told us to look left, look right. Only one of the three of us would graduate pre-med. Then he smirked "and if one of you three is a woman, I doubt it'll be you." That's how I started my freshman year.
In honor of Larry Summers, I asked the female members of my college class (1987) to say if they had any experiences with sexual harassment by teachers/professors, back when this was tolerated as, I dunno, the cost of attending college, and OH MY GOD.

I do fit this statistic, but my YouTube use is exclusively sleep meditation tracks from this dude in Australia and finding new Jewish music. I'm not sure "use" tells us much if anything about what people are seeing.
