In hindsight, it was probably a bad idea for voters to put the full force of the US state apparatus and military in the hands of a guy who bragged that he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and not lose any support, and who was also granted immunity by the Supreme Court before taking office.

I mean, it’s a bit hard to dissociate the Meta glasses from creep technologies because a) every publicity still I’ve seen of it featured Mark Zuckerberg, Creep Extraordinaire grinning ominously as he wore it; and b) actually perverts use it to nonconsensually record women in public and at work.

I lost my job and my house was flooded after Katrina. Then I resumed construction work at 48 yo.
I was lucky enough to work alongside many Latin men and women during a very stressful time.
I would like to add that they were also very friendly and fun while working as hard as this video depicts.
