It never fails to infuriate me that people will be annoyed that a lot of interesting non blockbuster movies now only stay in theaters for a week or 2 (if they get theatrical releases all) and yet when I explain this is why I hate longe seats in movie theaters they REFUSE to concede the longe chairs!

Also strongly feel that you should watch Pluribus before it gets popular if only to avoid knowing what Pluribus is actually about before watching Pluribus. Going in completely blind would be the ideal viewing experience.
Damn, Pluribus good and I recommend giving it a shot now because people start to think it’s overhyped or whatever. Get in on the ground floor so you can skip the knee jerk reaction to wait on things because they’re too popular and form your own opinions free from judgment of others.

Probably shameful that I think Splice (2009) is still my favorite version of Frankenstein despite its terrible, awful, fucking stupid final 10 minutes that completely undermines the whole point of the rest of the movie. One of the biggest fumbles in history. Astronomically bad ending.

Damn, Pluribus good and I recommend giving it a shot now because people start to think it’s overhyped or whatever. Get in on the ground floor so you can skip the knee jerk reaction to wait on things because they’re too popular and form your own opinions free from judgment of others.

It would be really funny if the inevitable American Squid Games show just kept the exact same theming of playing Korean children’s games and every episode is a bunch of burley men with different regional accents yelling and complaining that they don’t understand the rules lmao
I’m sure so many people have made this observation already since the last season came out a little while ago now, but also hilarious to have Cate Blanchett’s American proxy character in California playing the same Korean kids game that no white American has ever heard of before Squid Games lol

It is objectively funny that after seasons of the non-Korean actors on Squid Games being hilariously not good they suddenly had Oscar winner Cate Blanchett for 5 seconds at the very end. Just incredible acting for one line lmao

The way reality and time doesn’t make any sense because I have vivid memories of listening to Lorde’s Ribs album in high school, physically IN my high school, but in reality that album didn’t come out till 2013 and I graduated high school in 2011. How???
