On the note of preserving history, I want to make two things quite well known to the masses on here as best I can:

1. If you have a family member's service number, you can get their record from the National Archive.
2. Websites like FindAGrave also contain that history.

My Dad, during his time in the Department of Defense, could not accept someone buying him LUNCH as it would appear to be a bribe.
