Geographer- too many interests to take academia seriously (thanks ADHD)? Teach courses in data science, cartography, and GeoAI Literacy. If it's tactile art, I've probably attacked it in a hyperfocus episode ⭐

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 7. Got carding brushes this week and finally got some time to try them out with colors I don't typically use. WIP I guess.

Old Town and REO town are always up for some unique celebrations that reflect the unique people from the area. Krampusnacht, Scrapfest, BluesFest, Nordic Fire Fest, StoopFest, Dam Jam, and of course the normal ones you see in most cities. www.fox47news.com/neighborhood...

Has anyone used the WCPS #qgis plugin?
Just wondered what advantages it brings? I always find the Zonal Statistics tool works really well for vector layer sample areas I want to know more about overlaying a raster layer.

The federal agency ordinarily would prevent attacks on voting rights. Now it’s carrying them out.

A disrespect for me as an educator means that a basic piece of sociality and trust has been broken and so I don’t owe anyone generous feedback. But I don’t need to be punitive either. That’s what those who are selling these products want. They want to exhaust us into resignation.

It's time for the "How to do ALT text" image again.

Writing a perfect ALT text is impossible, but please try 💚!

Visually impairment is a wide spectrum and doesn't keep people from loving the visual arts.

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 6. Block printing. Science Matters protest sign. Pink base says "Fuck Muskrat" and the bottom are beakers and middle fingers. Hard to see in the image I think. What little time I spent making things this year, most of that time went into this type of 'mini' project.

Money can buy any material object, but it can never buy dignitary, empathy, or respect. If we learn no other lesson out of the current regime, I hope that more people come to understand that.

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 5: Autumn Morning, Kansas City

I did this little ink & wash piece when it was still hot as hell down here in Texas. It has Kansas City landmarks & images that remind me of fall in KC. It’s for my dad, who’s in memory care. Memories for both of us.

Day 5 of #ArtAdventCalendar. I was putting my tree up and was reminded of the tree skirt I crocheted a few years back. It really is one of my favourite projects and I love the way it looks under the tree.
