Tell your friends, your friends' kids, your kids: if their GPA is below a 3.0 do not apply to big competitive schools. Don't waste your time or money. If you have a fee waiver & want to give it a shot, ok. But I'd hate to think of receiving multiple rejection letters. That's tough.

Being of slightly smaller stature I do my best to not ask for help to get an out of reach item. I'd rather ask an employee. So if I ask a fellow shopper I really have pushed myself to do so. Don't try to embarrass me or make a scene, bruh. Not sure how I'd react.

My neighbor was talking about blue hostas he had seeds for that he would share (they do exist). He sent me a TikTok today of some beautiful ones. It's AI. I don't know that the ones in that video truly exist. Pretty but perhaps not real.

I was just thinking this about Raleigh yesterday. And I know we pale in comparison to New Orleans and larger cities but if most of the homes become modernist white boxes what legacy do you have? No architectural history. I want to see the eras when I drive down streets. It's a city's story.
And this is why I be walking around New Orleans IRATE looking at all the soulless gray boxes. How dare you move here and strip character and history from the city. Destroying our beautiful architecture for what? To make such a special place look like everywhere else?
if you were a passenger asleep in a car and you fell asleep in NC and woke up in TN, you wouldn't be able to tell unless somebody told you or you located yourself. same with SC and GA. most all the states in the south def look alike.

They picked the coldest day since 2022 to start digging near the plants at the entrance of the neighborhood. Had to wrap up to go out there to check the damage & talk to the workers. Fortunately it was minimal & they said they would put it back. Will see how true that is later. Or tomorrow. Cuz cold

If I have a mailbox, don't leave stuff on my desk. Put it in my mailbox. My desk might already be a mess (where I know things are), I don't need things added to that. Especially with no note, email, or directive for said stuff.

As someone who was a football fanatic and gave it up cold turkey, I can see how the sports averse folks feel now. It is very overwhelming. Been on both sides.

Yup. It's like that around here. You might find a few progressive churches with a racially mixed congregation.
I was trying to find a local congregation to visit. But all of the places that note progressive ideas on their websites are majority white. And all of the majority Black congregations make no mention of being progressive on their websites.
