Writer, editor, iPhonographer (sorry).I may occasionally promote my book or someone else's book. But promotion is really not my thing. Just because I follow you, don't assume I want a conversation with you. NO DMs!!!!!!!!!

For the record, don't expect a follow-back if your feed shows fewer than two original posts--I don't know you. Don't go the DM route--immediately suspicious. If your feed is more than 40% political, I'm not interested. I don't give a fig about crypto.

My mom’s memory care costs north of $8K/month and it’s not by any means luxurious.

I hear the employees chat together and it’s clear that many have second jobs. Example: one was leaving the facility to go directly to another full shift at Amazon.

Terrible $ math. It’s enraging.

This is the first Thanksgiving for Sophie & Colin Hortman without their parents, Minnesota state Rep. Melissa Hortman and Mark Hortman who were assassinated along with the family dog in an act of political murder. National guards troops were not deployed to the state in response.

Once we boarded our Tundra Buggy, our feet didn't touch ground for three days. Exceptions are made in a pinch for staff who must perform dire maintenance, like retrieving lost lens caps, during which time they are carefully guarded by a phalanx of armed bear lookouts. This is not an adventure for ants-in-your-pants, exercise junkies. But our shoes sure stayed clean.
