“Waterslide” - 2025

My favorite part of this shot is where the water has clearly gone down the leaf due to gravity. The rest of the drops would evaporate 20 minutes later so this shot was truly fleeting.

Not bad for a phone picture! All the immediate family is in town and I took them out to #Breckenridge, #Colorado to see some fall foliage. It’s just past peak color, but still stunning as can be!

The leaves are POPPING near home right now and I was fortunate to catch peak weekend finally for these aspens! Last year, I was a little early for this composition and got lots of lime green with only a hint of yellow.

We don’t get much rain in #Colorado. This was shot out near Steamboat a few weeks ago and is one of my all time favorite black and white photos. The water was gone just 30 minutes later, and then it got hot and humid, and then we got violently hailed and rained on.
