I should introduce myself properly.
I'm Silvana, a 37 year old illustrator and character designer. I am currently working on an Indigenous children's show for APTN, called Chums! My art focuses on animals, butts and my relationships with life and death. But it's mostly drawings of butts.

I was taught in grade 1 that when writing a letter, to ask how the recipient was! It hasn't left my brain since.
"How are you. I am fine."
(Every letter I wrote as a 6 year old)

I got double veggies, and the person making my sando also put double chili peppers, and now my mouth is shredded and on fire.
I am so happy.

i am struggling so i’m putting out the call!

i need examples of graphic novellas under/around 100 pages published in the last 2-3 years. preferably memoirs or at least telling a story (not just educational guides etc).

anyone know of any, or have tips on how to search for this kind of thing?
