🖥️Most CDC data dashboards are not being updated during the shutdown. Go to your state (or local/county) health department for up to date information on respiratory viruses, food borne outbreaks, and other health information.
You can schedule a reading with me to find out more. Find my website and calendly in the linktree on my profile.
But there is some support. Venus is in Virgo (loving discernment) and then moving into her own sign of Libra next week. And with Jupiter in Cancer, local care networks are amplified.

Where these show up in your chart may help you understand how you can be involved in change & resistance.
There is great astrological support both for spinning fantasies for yourself and for breaking illusions and having an honest accounting. We have to be incredibly discerning when dealing with these themes.
If change is not only possible but inevitable, how do I want to shape my actions? What do I need to learn? Who do I need to talk to? (Hint: marginalized folks have been dealing with fascism for centuries.) And what are my strengths and weaknesses going forward?
Whether you like astrology or not, there is a lot of synchronicity to the issues and themes we're living out today. These reflections give us a chance to ask, if these are the worldwide themes that are present, how do I want to engage?
These three are slow outer planets, so we're going to see the effects taking place over time.

That means there is still time and opportunity to change how you engage in community. How you challenge yourself both in your political analysis and your inner contradictions.
The 3 planets are sextiling each other; Uranus & Pluto are trine. These are positive aspects that encourage conscious effort and engagement and help create opportunities.

But these are not easy planets or (in the case of Neptune) placements. It's all in the way we work with this energy.
In astrological terms, it makes me really think about how Pluto in Aquarius (intense deep collective transformation), Neptune in Aries (lighter fluid energy), and Uranus in Gemini (disruption in connection) are just sitting there, grinding away in retrograde in the early degrees of their signs.
6 months ago I set up Google alerts for a few key terms: martial law, insurrection act, trans rights, border crossings, and so on. For months, there weren't too many hits that were relevant. Now they're all popping off.
I can feel my nervous system calming just looking at this. Join me in hearing the muffled silence of the snow, in smelling the trees and cold air, and feeling the cozy warmth of the house and the eerie darkness from the snow covering the windows. #Imagining #Rest
We love a good Mutual Aid report! Thanks for all you're doing.

I didn't have enough time to tally everything to include in my October newsletter. So sharing here for those of you who are part of the Giving Circle.

In Sept, some of you donated $4729.77 [after fees] to the Giving Circle. I donated $4500 to 12 projects. Documentation is here.

☝🏼This is in part because other colonizer countries have allowed and counted on US war-lust and greed to do their muscle work. European countries have a couple of shadows: the global South to exploit and racialize, and the US to feel superior to, yet secretly count on for military might.
Weird how the US is such a free country that we only have 4% of the world's population and yet we need three of the ten highest funded militaries on the planet.

(Yes, US municipal police and ICE both have budgets that rank in the top ten of the world's militaries.)
We know this is true, because we heard little during Dem administrations, though deportations & ICE violence were still rampant.

People need to really interrogate what it's going to take to get free. This requires inner work as well as activism. People don't like to face their own contradictions. 🦋
Are people asking for more skillful kidnappings? Is there a more civil way to strip a child from their parents?

I know the answer to that question for some, it’s yes. People would rather it be less visible, less fuss, and less overtly violent.
If you see yourself in this post or my caption, there's a link in my bio for a free discovery session to explore more. I'm also going to offer monthly free group coaching sessions starting in November, so stay tuned.
While many therapists haven't been trained in trans and gender expansive issues. Patriarchy really is a devastating lose/lose for everyone.
Men are often unattuned to their own emotional needs and it's the core of their issues. And trans people, including trans non-binary and gender nonconforming people exist, and find themselves navigating not just both sides but a "no man's land" (pun intended) of identity and emotional experiences.
ID: @dearnaijagirl: It's not a coincidence that some of the most common therapy work for women is setting boundaries, acknowledging their needs, and speaking up ... while common therapy work for men is understanding limits, managing defensive reactions, and learning to attune to the needs of others.
#Patriarchy strikes again. There is truth to this post, not because of innate tendencies, but because of social and cultural expectations. And also - white women will get defensive like a pro when called out on racism or participating in other oppressions.
