My dream would be for an entire Kirby-themed expansion, but I know that's unrealistic. The most "second party stuff" we've gotten is Kirby-themed wallpaper on an eReader card for GBA, or a reference to the Pokémon Pikachu device on GameCube. It's probably not viable in 202X.

The coming update to Animal Crossing got me to revisit my “100% complete”island from early 2020 for the first time in…several years? It’s downright EERIE how little things changed in all this time. Glad to see it’s been well-maintained. And I have plenty of bells in savings & Nook Miles stored up. 🤣

They’re saving the extensive Kirby collaboration for the next big Animal Crossing game… right? 😜

The problem with Pokemon Z-A all taking place in one city isn’t the lack of environmental variety, it’s that the city design is not conducive to being fun. It’s a maze of walls that are shaped like buildings and hallways.

They didn’t build a city, they built a labyrinth with a city skin on it.

Short form video is killing gaming and the fastest selling console in US history just launched and layoffs are the only answer and multiple franchises are seeing record setting launches and we need to expand use of AI to make more games faster and we've had huge increases in release count each year.

I love Adeleine with my whole heart. But she doesn't "deserve" a spot any more or less than Nago/folks that DIDN'T get included, or Rocky/those who DID.

There are a billion ways to play it now, most recently via Sonic Origins Plus. You can beat it in a single sitting, even without years of built-up knowledge. Do it! :)

My palate cleanser from Pokémon is a childhood favorite. Sonic Triple Trouble is the zenith of 8-bit Sonic. I mashed the fan “remake” a couple years ago. I’m gonna Free Play that next as a bonus character or two.

I love Kirby fans dangit.

Kirby fans are ALWAYS feasting. Even Shimomura likers like me still got Star Allies, Gooey in Kirby Fighters 2, mountains of ne’er before released plushies, and so much more.

Anyone who's known me since my press days knows I hate the "lazy developers", "this game is slop" rhetoric. SOME people worked hard on this stuff & tried their best. Despite my visceral hatred of some choices here, they deserve my empathy.
