Honestly, I was mildly disappointed that Jekyll and Hyde weren’t played by the same person, but honestly, it makes sense in the context of the cartoon. Also, by the time they got around to choosing a voice for Hyde, Morris was running out of voices to use, so as to not sound too samey. #NotAloneTalk

Something new I realized about the cast of Groovie Goolies. There’s one actor who only has one *named* character to his credentials: John Irwin, voice of (Mr.) Hyde. Coincidentally, his counterpart, Dr. Jekyll, is voice by the man responsible for 99% of the voices, Howard Morris! #NotAloneTalk

A scene from my Groovie Goolies/Mummy fanfic! Based on a meme I made that I ultimately decided to draw out:

Hagatha standing in the threshold of Dr. Jekyll and Hyde’s clinic in shock at seeing The Mummy in human form (olive-skin and bedraggled dark hair), bawling his eyes out, his bandages torn and hanging off his body. Jekyll’s head is looking down guiltily at his syringe engraved: “Caution: May raise the dead!” Hyde’s hand is stroking Mummy’s shoulder in a comforting fashion. Drac is stroking Mummy’s other shoulder while glaring daggers at The Doctor, as Frankie and Wolfie look on, confounded. Background has yellow walls and blue and while tiled floor.

Been doing well! Might have gotten an actual student in church this week! One of the high school girls I didn’t know as well revealed to me she was homeschooled, so I chatted with her mom about opportunities to help out! She was very appreciative and wants to keep in touch! #NotAloneTalk

Feel better! Thanks for the art share! I’m a traditional artist who has branched out a bit with OCs but mostly sticks with fanart. Particularly fanart of stuff that doesn’t have much art anywhere else.
