There's a three week period from the end of school until when summer sports starts, and friends are all doing family things, when Buck and Steve just sort of wander around like ghosts trying to stay busy. This also applies to the long Thanksgiving weekend, the week between Christmas and New Year's 😩

Ok idk if this is what you had in mind, but I'm imagining like Wayne sitting there like "oh I wish I had a baby" and then lightning strikes down Al and boom. Wayne has a baby all for himself. (Eddie is born out of Al's ashes like a Phoenix or smth idk)

However you use it though, you definitely don't need 'on'. "He ghosted you", "I got ghosted", "Think I'm gonna just ghost that guy", "She's a serial ghoster" are all appropriate uses of the word.

okay, a couple of questions? How old are the characters? A month is a *long* time for the under 25 crowd, for example. #2 is closest, but depending on the age of the characters I'd go even more informal. Like, "It's been longer than a month? Girl*, you were ghosted weeks ago." (*gender neutral).
