Steve pops to Eddie after that, he just wants to check in. He finds Chrissy and Eddie in the trailer, giving Eddie a moment to excuse himself so they can chat. They end up in his room under the guise of looking for something stronger for Chrissy.

So life goes on, or afterlife, in his case. Things are a little tense when the champion game is scheduled the same day as the finale for the campaign. He sits in the stands and waits for the others to show up, considers popping in just to check what is taking them so long,

It certainly doesn’t hurt that he can add some ‘special effect’ to the drama as well. Eddie had been so excited when he thought of asking Steve to mess with the other guys, the rule being that he couldn’t do anything that would gives the kids an advantage.

He goes to every Hellfire meeting as well, now that the kids had joined Eddie’s cub. It took him a while to understand even a little of what is going on but he enjoys watching the people he cares about so engaged and carefree in their little game.

He had helped Lucas practice basketball until he was able to join the team, he tells the guys that he wants to be popular for once, normal. But he told Steve something different, Max pulling away fractured him a bit, he needed a space away from things that didn’t remind him of who was missing,

The poofing is different from when he has passed out and woke up at home, more controlled, it still uses a lot of energy but not nearly to the same extent. He pops around to check on their whole group throughout the day, but California seems to be too far for him to manage.

He watches Max more than any of them, he is actual able to go unnoticed if he so chooses.
The rest of the summer was filled with them testing out more of his ‘ghost powers’, he is able to go through solid walls, become invisible even to those who know about him,

Part 11

The school year starts up again. Steve is so glad that Eddie is there for the kids where he can’t be everyday. He still hangs around the lunch room sometimes, but it seems to distract the kids more than comfort them when he is in the classroom.

he thought maybe Eddie was a brunette, a medium brown who wanted darker hair. Nope. Baby boy is BLONDE. Blonde bouncy curls that would make any southern belle weep in jealousy. And now that he knows? Steve will not let it go.

What are our thoughts on Eddie actually being blonde and he just continuously dyes the shit out of his hair with black box dye. Like his curls never had a CHANCE before Steve came along, took him to a real salon-got him hair care. It’s when Wayne brings out the baby pics that Steve loses it though,

away just for Eddie. Döner kebap is a huge hit, the idea of spaghetti ice cream not quite up to Steve’s sensibilities until he tries it. It’s a lovely time, they can’t wait to get back home and tell the kids (almost) all about it, unload the gifts they got for them. Move Eddie in. They’ll come back.

Their last days in Europe are spent strolling along the rivers edge, the Rhein providing the backdrop for their love as it grows more. They feed each other fresh chocolates from the museum, they visit the brauhauses. Eddie makes plenty of jokes about hiding Steve away in one of the castles, locked

But they play their last show, it’s a rounding success, Eddie bounds off of the stage at the end. He runs towards Steve and scoops him up, spinning him around in a circle. Steve is so happy for him, such a big step in eddies career and HE got to be there for it, fall in love with him through it

Germany is the last stop on their tour, walking out of the station in Köln and seeing the cathedral inspires a whole new set, something something meeting god and all that. JT’s supposed to be about the daunting beauty of the architecture, the boys know it’s about Steve.

Amsterdam is where they get really crazy, they wander the red light district, pop in and out of bars, coffee shops. At one point Steve is dared to dance like one of the girls in the windows, it shouldn’t turn Eddie on as much as it does. But they really let loose, the CC boys are convinced atp

Alrighty next up, Scotland! The boys spend hours exploring Edinburgh castle, Eddie is amazed by all the history stored within the hundreds of year old walls. They watch the cannon blow, they just wander it. Steve is a little cold but he would never drag Eddie away before he was ready.
