What concerns me right now is how many of my fellow citizens think certain actions - even if wrong, ill advised, or illegal - now justify a quick, in the moment death sentence.

The interesting thing about recent reporting on critical infrastructure attacks is how fragmented items are. No one trusts anyone, not after industry fuckups (Industroyer/CrashOverride), not after government fuckups (threatening to invade Greenland, shitting on Ukraine).

I would never trust CBP/ICE/whatever with my children for more than five seconds beyond my eyesight.

We're about to enter a period across the S/SE/MA/NE US where people will wonder, "Is it more ethical to continue to use food delivery services during severe weather events because people need the income from them, or to not use such services given safety and other considerations?"

There have been some really embarrassing, horrific displays of public "diplomacy" and discussion by US officials up to and including POTUS over the years (I remember W!), but holy shit the "performance" of all US "officials" in Davos appears to be on another level entirely.
