I’ve seen so many people spreading the misinformation that PBS is shut down or is shutting down.

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting has been shut down and PBS has been defunded.

HOWEVER!!! PBS still exists. It is more important now than ever that you donate to PBS if you can.

It was a tumultuous time in Amber's life. She was continuously getting into trouble with both her old and new group of friends. She thought her life was so awful. She had no idea how privileged she was! In an effort to try to keep Amber out of trouble, Ashlyn thought that her own little home business might help. Ashlyn renovated her late husband's shop into a place for Amber to sell tea and baked goods. Amber was actually quite successful at it, but the pull of teenage irresponsibility was a bit too strong.

Amber continued to struggle with following rules... everything from sabotaging public toilets to swiping small objects from local businesses. She even ran away for awhile! Her closest friends Antonio and Colton were always there as her partners in crime. While Colton was often a willing and aware participant, the more innocent Antonio was the one often just getting caught up in the moment. It was Colton that taught her the joy of the dine and dash. They would go to really nice restaurants in nearby towns, stuff themselves with the most expensive things on the menu, and then run off without paying.

Amber just couldn't seem to help herself. She loved the attention she got when she misbehaved... even if it was bad attention. From the very first day of high school, she vowed to make sure everyone knew who she was. She even aimed to make the principal her enemy. Unfortunately, she achieved that. She quickly became known as the one who never took classes seriously on the rare occasion she actually showed up. Amber also made life difficult for other students with her shenanigans.
