Discovering even more powerful stuff that Krita can do! (I did the halftones and overprinting defects with built-in Krita filters, and no custom brushes were used, aside from the one used to make the lineart worn out.)

The screenshot shows different digital halftone filter techniques that mimic vintage/retro 4-color printing processes, used in e.g. old comics. It also showcases overprinting and printing imperfections, drawn with Krita's built-in tools, with no custom brushes. Krita is very powerful!

WRITING TIP, something simple but it catches many of us out: if you have a great/fun idea for your story, *use it now*.

Don’t save your ideas for some nebulous other story you might write tomorrow. I promise you’ll have more.

Break your story’s status quo. Go a step further. Use the big idea.

This is actually the second version of the illustration. Because with the first illustration, I felt I was getting repetitive with using the same vintage/aged paper background. So with this, I decided to use a different one to make a more definitive feel that it's like a old comic/magazine. I really love how this turned out. TEAM DARK
