Yeah some people are legitimately scared. That's not good. Even though I am confident driving I still prefer biking or busing, especially the latter cause I can get some naps in.

Bottom line: I do not trust a company using AI to know what minor changes could be done to improve production vs wholesale changes because they perceive most work done can be replaced by AI. And creatives that support using AI will not stand with those poor folks who had their careers obliterated.

What he's saying on its own isn't terrible. But the problem is, what is a tedious task? And who will lose their jobs? Guys like George Miller or James Cameron and now Kojima all think the same way within degrees of each other:

Yes. You don't even need to use all the money to pay for school either. And it can also be used as a means to transfer tax liability on investment growth to the kids who will be in a lower tax bracket when going to school.

I haven't mentioned MMA at work in a decade. There's only one dude at work who remembers I like MMA. This new girl got hired and as part of her intro, she said she loved the UFC. So this guy turns to look at me and I basically gave him a glare like, "Don't you fucking dare say it. I will kill you."

Every once in a while I crave a donair but there is only one mediocre place by my home. But I still get one because it does scratch that craving. That said, I found the large one isn't any better than the regular donair. Just more veggies.

I've seen comments of folks getting upset Canada Post works get up to 7 weeks vacation time. That's after 25+ yrs of working for them. The question isn't why they get 7 weeks. The question is, why are your work benefits so shitty?

I got 6 weeks paid vacation after 15 years but I'm capped out now.

I think it might actually be two different departments or two different people working on it. Whatever the reason it's dumb. Watch, I bet after we reply, somehow they find a way to say it's not good enough and we owe. CRA is desperate for money and are looking for wins wherever they can.

CRA is brutal. My wife got a notice a month ago that as part of the reassessment of her taxes, they were auditing the credit we applied for. But today she received a notice that she was reassessed and didn't owe anything even though we had yet to reply to the audit. They still want us to reply. Lol.

I hated season 2 but I liked the subsequent seasons. At this stage it's more about just getting it over with. TBH if tomorrow Netflix suddenly decided not to release the final season I would just shrug.
