In this sham of a judiciary hearing against Congresswoman McIver. Thank you Soror @repjasmine.bsky.social for keeping receipts!
I haven’t been on in a minute please pray for St. Louis. The devastation is unreal. These are two of three congregations that friends lead that have sustained significant damage. I arrived a couple of hours before the tornado. Thankfully my family is safe but many aren’t.

Crockett: I cannot wait until voters have an opportunity to say: You took food out of my mouth. You took a roof from over my head. You are responsible for making sure that I do not have health care. I'm going to make sure you don't have a job.
Tonight my heart bleeds for the family of #Tyrenichols and Memphis murder with impunity causes people to relive the nightmare over and over again. “The whole damn system is guilty as Hell!”
I am not going back!
KEEP UP THE
GREAT WORK!
As we await the next act of terror from the Empire be reminded of Acts 5:29
“But Peter and the apostles answered, "We must obey God rather than any human authority.”
Don’t cower, capitulate or be complicit.
For friends who show up in your amen corner from near and far, thanks be to GOD!

On this day in 1965, President Lyndon B. Johnson told Gov. Wallace he would federalize the National Guard to protect Selma marchers. Alabama refused to defend justice, so the White House stepped in. A defining moment where federal power was used to uphold civil rights. #Selma
The Dems are so weak!!! The don’t understand the art of war! Capitulation to the autocrats will not stop them. It is a sad day!
Breaking: The Senate voted 54-46 to pass a seven-month funding patch — a major victory for Trump that also caused a deep rift in the Democratic Party. ow.ly/VXN750VirXS
Today I remember Harriet Tubman. She escaped this earthly plane on this date in 1913. Yet her wisdom and courage is still reverberating around the globe. It is that wisdom that we need to conjure up now.
I am in solidarity with many people today I chose to stand for myself and Black women and rest.
We need more courageous leadership like @algreen.house.gov. Stand for something or fall for anything.
@algreen.house.gov thank you for your courage. The Party should have walked when you did! We will see your colleagues in the primaries! Keep fighting for the people.
@cnn.com @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social decorum will not get you re-elected! People need to know that you can fight and nothing demonstrated that. When Rep Green got ejected you all should have walked. You listened while he hurled racist, xenophobic, homophobic insults. We need you to “Squabble up!”

This is the resistance
Even the people working at DOGE say it is a lawless nightmare for America. In fact, they know it better than anyone.

Thanks to these true public servants who won’t stand for such a dangerous betrayal of the American people.
21 DOGE staffers resign, saying they won't help 'dismantle' public services
Twenty-one members of the United States DOGE Service have resigned, they said in an anonymous letter, citing DOGE's ongoing work dramatically reshaping the federal government.

Thank you Rep Petersen. It’s shameful that you had to show up. They have no conscious.
Colorado's Rep Brittany Pettersen (D) flew cross-country with her one-month-old to vote against the GOP budget tonight. Dems ended up one vote short. Pettersen was part of an unsuccessful bipartisan push to allow new mothers to vote remotely. #copolitics
