I need to try even harder to tap into that weird shit out there. Ironically it seems like it was easier to find back when the internet was smaller. Now weirdness is a commercial aesthetic. But not the real stuff, the raw stuff that can't have its fangs pulled out. But it's buried beneath the rest.

I can do "losing is fun" with CK3 since it's more cyclical, but Victoria 3 a bad mistake can really blow your run.

Digging into Victoria 3 again and was having a really good run as US but got too cocky and didn't save before trying to turn Mexico into a puppet state. The war declaration screen didn't warn me Great Britain was going to stick its great nose in my business causing me to lose Texas and Louisiana 😡

Finished Lemurian Vampire and wrapped up Case of the Golden Idol. Fantastic game. I'm eager to try Rise of the Golden Idol but enjoyed pacing out the first game over a few months so I'll probably wait a bit.
