I simplified the statement - it changed ownership of everything to the application owner, because she did it as root at root it changed critical system file to be owned by the application so nothing worked right after.

I once had a weeklong engagement with a consultant to build out an enterprise server, no lie - with about an hour to go she did a chown -R and as she hit enter she realized she was at root and not in the folder she was supposed to be in.

5 days, 35 hours work for 2 people - obliterated in a stroke

The Office of Management and Budget sent a notification to Congress about their intent to use research and development funds to pay members of the military, two sources with direct knowledge tell NBC News.

A spokesperson for the OMB confirmed to NBC News that it plans to use the research and development funds and that there are two years' worth of funds available within the Department of Defense.
