Why did Indiana University attack and cut its own student newspaper?

Well, in a twist of irony any English professor would call clichéd, it turns out IU did it because they were angry about the students' reporting on a FIRE report naming IU as the worst public university for free speech in the US.

The U.S. Supreme Court will allow the Trump administration to cut nearly $800 million in NIH research funding for projects that relate to DEI topics. Utah researchers worry about what that means for…

This could be a big deal.

In 2021, the Republican dominated Utah legislature illegally Gerrymandered Utah's congressional maps and cracked liberal Salt Lake County between all 4 congressional districts. Courts just ruled that map is illegal.

A better map could give us a Democratic congressperson.
Judge strikes down Utah's congressional maps

Guys, it might happen. Utah should gain +1 blue district 🤯
🚨BREAKING!

The ruling in the gerrymandering decision is out.

The judge ruled that the Utah Legislature violated the Utah Constitution when it repealed Prop. 4, which established an independent redistricting commission.

The ruling restores Prop. 4 in its entirety.
