Proud that AZ Democratic legislators walked out of the joint legislative session today as ICE Director Homan spoke, in order to highlight the people who are being disappeared without due process and often without any criminal history.

The White House’s new anti-media website includes denunciations of:

-ABC, which bribed the president
-CBS, which bribed the president and moved away from fact-based journalism trying to appeal to him and his fans
-WaPo, which spiked a Harris endorsement and tilts coverage in Trump’s favor

Fools.

National Guard aren’t ICE or Border Patrol. They didn’t sign up looking to harass and repress people. They’re volunteers, part time, in case of emergency. They didn’t ask for this.

West Virginia National Guard shouldn’t have been deployed in Washington DC.

Victims of the shooter and the president.

Democrats should ask: when residential natural gas prices are at their highest ever, why are we exporting a record amount? Why not use it to make energy more affordable here?

The GOP has no answer for this; it contradicts everything they claim they're doing.

This rhetoric is indistinguishable from the stuff you hear coming out of white nationalists. Completely identical language.
Trump: “I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries … denaturalize migrants who undermine domestic tranquility, and deport any Foreign National who is a public charge, security risk, or non-compatible with Western Civilization.“

Arizona, we need your help! Tomorrow is the last day to submit public comments to the Arizona Corporation Commission before against the deal between TEP and Beale to build a hyperscale data center (Project Blue) east of Tucson. We have a guide on our website on what to say. nodesertdatacenter.com
Our privately owned electric utility, TEP, and a developer, Beale Infrastructure, disregarded overwhelming community opposition for a proposed hyperscale data center east of Tucson. TEP has a proposal with the Arizona Corporation Commission that they'll vote on next week. Here's what you can do.

big late breaking news: the market monitor for the largest energy grid in the u.s., covering much of the midwest and mid-atlantic, has called to block new data centers connections to the grid, saying current course of growth assures regular blackouts
No more PJM data centers unless they can be reliably served: market monitor
The PJM Interconnection’s market monitor urged the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to rule that large data centers can only come online if the grid operator can still meet reliability metrics.

Disgusting and wasteful focus for Trump as regular Americans struggle. And Republicans let him.
Exclusive: President Trump has argued with the architect he handpicked to design a White House ballroom over the size of the project, reflecting a conflict between architectural norms and Trump’s grandiose aesthetic.
Trump wants a bigger White House ballroom. His architect disagrees.
The president and James McCrery had argued in recent weeks over the project’s size, with Trump pushing him to expand the ballroom.

Bc Rs have majority, we're unlikely to see the AZ Corp. Comm'n adopt a large load policy to protect us.

Will the R-led AZ Leg adopt one, or rein in excessive data center tax exemptions?
...My bill prohibiting ratepayer funds for utility lobbying has languished for 3 yrs

So I'll push these but:
democrats/liberals/progressives with any common sense need to get ahead of this electricity cost issue - we need restraint and regulation of ai and data centers, which are driving up costs www.cnbc.com/2025/11/26/a...
AI data center 'frenzy' is pushing up your electric bill — here's why
Energy-hungry data centers that underpin artificial intelligence are contributing to higher residential electricity bills, say experts.

There are complicated, structural reasons for the recent surge in electric prices (maybe a future thread on that) and beware of simple narratives. But prioritizing the most expensive generation is, quite literally, the dumbest possible solution.

I swore an oath to the Constitution in 1986. I've upheld it through 25 years of service and every day since I retired.

If Trump's trying to intimidate me, it won’t work. I’ve given too much to our country to be silenced by bullies who care more about power than the Constitution.

Reprehensible retaliatory investigation by the Trump Admin - all because Sen. @captmarkkelly.bsky.social stated the facts: the oaths sworn are to the Constitution and laws of the United States, and do not extend to illegal orders.
Breaking news: The Pentagon has launched an investigation into Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Arizona) for alleged misconduct after he and other Democrats urged military members to disobey unlawful orders in a recent viral video.

Listen, Trump. Your continued threats will not intimidate me or keep me from doing my job, which includes oversight of the executive branch.

Stop the threats of execution, hanging, and sending a mob before someone gets hurt.

America deserves better.
New threats from Trump:

The president just endorsed a post reading, "Go get all those traitorous sons of bitches for sedition at the very least. Those pompous traitorous communists should be impeached and prosecuted."

The correct answer to MAGA outrage over the Dem video is this: Are you effing kidding me? Of course it's reasonable to warn that Trump might be giving illegal orders.

The evidence is strong that he actually is giving illegal orders! I went through that evidence here:

Kudos to this article pointing out that AZ Republicans' first ballot referrals this year are:
- based on old conspiracy theories
- intended to make it harder to vote
- going to cause longer lines on election day
- nonsensical / badly written (AI generated?)
