Another "storm of the century" is hitting Kotzebue, for the second year in a row. Last year's storm almost took out my dad's house. Woke up to videos of the flooding and it's already bad. They are expected to get another storm after this one passes.

Here in Fairbanks I know the soil is so water logged! What does that mean for the winter & impacts to our infrastructure? Been noticing more pot holes opening up as well. Ugh - sad state of affairs.

According to eyewitnesses, armed ICE agents dragged kids out of their beds in the middle of the night, zip tied them and put them in rented vans while raiding an * entire apartment building* on the South Side of Chicago.

Trawlers are in the same category as the oil industry, McDonalds (tied to Pollock industry), Elbit, industrial farming, Amazon, etc. I envision a world no longer ruled by corporations. We should all demand it.
