I'm stupidly excited b/c in 31 days, Mr. Lisa and I are going to (mainly) Eastern Europe and on a cruise down the Danube. I'm bringing my pleather pants (which I've incorporated into my daily wardrobe) b/c every time I've been to EU, wearing (p)leather pants was a *thing* and I want to be a *thing*.

I got three "reminders" in early January in the same week and I responded with a "Can we not be obnoxious on the reminders?" Then it was crickets. Now this.

My ire is up about the male species because I'm watching Love is Blind US S10 (just dropped) and the women want to be moms and housewives. They have literally said they want to be subservient. The men are all like "LOOKING TO BREED AND HAVE A FOOTBALL TEAM." It's just so gross.

We have a very old Google appliance in our kitchen that is only good for acting as a clock, timer, dad jokes, and weather reports. With the latest OS update, we changed its voice to a posh British female. It sounds better hearing our shit weather report when it comes from a posh British female.

I know he had been struggling with his health for a few years so this is sad. :(

Oh god yes to all of this. We've got a gaslighter and abuser (Rochester), incel (Heathcliff) and idiot (Romeo). If you believe these are love stories, we need to adjust your meds and have a long talk about healthy relationships.

This is the first weekend in months I didn't need to set an alarm, have an appointment, or be somewhere. Thursday & I lazed abt until 8:30, she did her thing, and now I'm drinking coffee and eating Pop Tarts while I work on some pleasure projects. (Unfortunately, Mr. Lisa is on call this weekend. 😔)
