Off duty Hong Kong police officer assigned to National Security Department (name: Ko Chun-chung) taken to court today for taking "upskirt" photos of woman in MTR & trying to steal gun from police officer after his arrest. Defendant remanded in custody til trial in June.

This aspect is being discussed in Taiwan, but I wish it would be even more, and that pro-unification political parties would be challenged over the consequences of giving up rule of law and democracy.
Deplorable/Disgusting action from the HKGov "care team".
The government has "clarified" that the donated items seen disposed were "too damaged or dirty" to be of use. Some online commentators disagree with this statement, calling the items still usable.
Supplies donated to those effected by Tai Po fire by the general public that was taken by government "care teams" have been treated like trash and thrown away, the reason given was that "nobody needed them"

There are some people from nearby housing estates unaffected by the fire have taken advantage of the Tai Po fire tragedy and arrived to get free meals and supplies. This behavior is deplorable makes me rather upset.
