Video Editor/Filmmaker with rejection sensitive dysphoria foolishly trying to be noticed on a social media site. Is this a recipe for disaster? You betcha! Sometimes posts animation clips from film I’m working on.

I am still making this very long animated film.
One frame at a time.

Once got to work on a horror flick with Tony Todd and we got high one night and he started talking to me about the bees on Candyman and it was a real trip.
The Bee Guy sounded like a king.
A fun fact about the Candyman movies is that the first two had a renowned Bee Guy doing Bee Wrangling for the films but with the third movie Candyman Day of the Dead being low budget they assumed they couldn’t afford the renowned Bee Man but he was like “no…this is about the bees” and came back

Kinda cold on HAMNET.
Much preferred the 1st half when it's a lusciously shot celebration of life.
Found the 2nd half to be too forced emotionally.
But everyone around me cried for the entire 2nd hour so I recommend it.
A good movie cry is a wonderful thing & I hope it finds you.
Wish it found me.

Huntrix should do the end credits song for AVATAR 4.
James Cameron is not immune to Kpop Demon Hunters. While he’s a fan of the streaming mega hit, he hopes to see more movies premiering on the big screen.

Just saw RENTAL FAMILY.
Very good and quietly powerful film about emotional prostitution.
Brendan Fraser good but Akira Emoto (the old man) and the girl who plays the child steal the show.
two men are standing next to each other and the words rental family are on the bottom

Netflix, which rarely carries a single movie from before 1980, wants you to know how thrilled they are to acquire that classic piece of franchise IP, Casablanca

TATSUKI FUJIMOTO 17-26: SECOND HALF.
The finale, SISTERS, might be my favorite of the eight. As a sibling that one struck a nerve.
Intrigued by how every short is about falling in love, being in love or what it means to love someone either romantically or as a family member.
Good stuff.

MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM: THE ORIGIN - PART III.
Now this was a fun one!
Who could have predicted the One Year War was really started when a dude manipulating a spoiled brat into doing what he wants simply cause the kid had a huge crush on him.
Very anime.
Good setup for what is sure to follow.

Everyone saying acquring Warner Brothers will inspire Netflix to change is sounding just as dumb as the people in 2016 who were saying the office of President would mature Trump.

The shot compositions in the final EVA film are next level.
An entire world of humanity and how these characters are feeling summed up in one frame.

The people online who unhealthily care about the All-Time Box Office List will be very happy when this takes the #1 spot again.

(My love of the AVATAR saga is entirely a love of what those movies are doing that I can't get anywhere else.)

Not everything is bad news.
The 4K re-release of PRINCESS MONONOKE melted my brain in a good way.
A 4K re-release of PORCO ROSSO or SPIRITED AWAY or THE TALE OF PRINCESS KAGUYA or (proceeds to list every Studio Ghibli movie) could save me.

Hey Ted, I like to watch movies in theaters and at home I like to watch them off a physical media copy of the movie that I bought and own.

But I guess I'm not a "consumer".

Reminder:
The iconic "Netflix Sound" is from a moment where a known sexual predator, who Netflix protected for years, is playing a badguy celebrating having taken complete control of everything.

Not even 12 hours and Sarandos is all "Of course we'll give Warner Brothers movies a theatrical run. Just, you know, if they don't make a certain amount of money in the first 6 hours or we don't like them then they'll be on Netflix in a week. If they make money and we do like them? Maybe two weeks."
Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos says the streamer has no "opposition" to releasing Warner Bros. movies in theaters, but hints that "windows will evolve to be much more consumer friendly."
