I am a big fan of "bad movie" shows. MST3K, Flop House, WHM, HDTGM, etc., but a few years ago I thought, "why not do the opposite? do a podcast praising hated, bad, or underappreciated movies." so I did.

the guest *always* likes the movie, and I provide historical context for the negativity. 😉

paying money for shark movies can be a risky proposition, but I can tell you that this one's good. got to see it on a big screen at Fantastic Fest and quite enjoyed it.

he did all of the most iconic posters for Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, and Police Academy movies, of course, but these are some of my other favorites.

Rest in peace, Drew Struzan. His movie posters are much more than marketing. They're some of the finest pop art you'll ever see. Look at this masterpiece:

trivial fact: Ferris was the only Hughes production that didn't get a soundtrack album, much to the frustration of nerds like me who collected those albums.

The café PA was playing an Eighties song I sort of recognized but couldn't place; turned out to be the song from FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF when Ferris is running home near the end.
