Was really enjoying my second Silent Hill f playthrough up until the final boss on this go-around. It's been so difficult that I question whether I'll truly be able to finish and see that third playthrough for the true ending.

Cray apparently is getting a bit too chonky in the vet's opinion, so we'll be monitoring his food portions and checking his weight month-to-month more closely.

Breath of Fire, duh. And have director Makoto Ikehara and creator Yoshinori Kawano back on board along with artist Tatsuya Yoshikawa and designer Yugo Togawa. And call it Breath of Fire VI while retconning Ono/Sugiura's mobile failure Breath of Fire 6.

Incredible documentary! Great insight about EGM's early days. They were right about GamePro appealing to kids (like me), but I did start getting into EGM from '98 when they previewed Final Fantasy VIII.

Incredible documentary! Great insight about EGM's early days. They were right about GamePro appealing to kids (like me), but I did start getting into EGM from '98 when they previewed Final Fantasy VIII.

Today marks 10 years since I moved to the Bay Area! I remember taking an early, empty flight from NJ, listening to the Street Fighter II The Definitive Soundtrack along the way, landing in a rainy SF and spotting Psychonauts/Brütal Legend director Tim Schafer at the airport (a good omen?).

Great read. I know a few of the Yacht Club Games guys personally and I really hope Mina the Hollower's a hit for them. I really loved the demo and had backed the game on Kickstarter, and I'll happily rebuy Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope DX whenever that gets re-released.
I think it's worth pointing out that very few video-game companies are as transparent as Shovel Knight maker Yacht Club Games, and I appreciate that the studio was so candid about their story and why their next game, Mina the Hollower, has taken so long

Yesterday, I saw Brandish SNES being sold at a local game shop for $24.99. Normally it goes for ~$90 just for the cart. I asked them if it was a repro, 'cause I couldn't believe my eyes. They discovered they mispriced it as a SFC cart and updated the price to $99.99. 🥴
Shoulda kept my trap shut! 😅

I have the absolute worst luck with buying secondhand Dreamcast games. Can't catch a break with the heavy hitters sometimes; even when the disc gets resurfaced I get read issues.

I recall the back of the Ghosts n’ Goblins NES box showed the arcade or maybe PC version of the game, and man was I disappointed when I plugged it in and that was not how it looked!
