We’re in a critical situation and have our work cut out for us. And we’re not stopping.

The good news is that there’s so much more we can do to reduce climate pollution and improve our lives in the process!

Perhaps one of the most important and hope inspiring shifts in climate policy and the energy transition.

The increase in power demand from economy wide electrification will dwarf data centers and is the reason we need to build as much clean power as we can everywhere.

Electrification could now reach 75% of all energy demand, as the road-transport and heating sectors rapidly electrify 🔥🚗

These two sectors account for 50% of global energy use and are now ready to switch from fossil molecules to clean electrons.

"In the US, an alarming 13% of childhood asthma cases are caused by household gas stoves."
What Your Gas Stove Is Doing To Your Health
Induction stoves beat out gas stoves on health and the environment. Gas stove manufacturers are challenging a CO law to warn consumers about gas stove health concerns.

California officially ended another summer without a Flex Alert, thanks to battery storage.

A new LA Times report shows how the state’s battery buildout is boosting grid reliability and keeping costs down. 🔋

California made it through another summer without a Flex Alert. Thank batteries, experts say
Batteries that pair with clean solar and wind energy or just bolster electrical grids in general have completely taken off and are making a big difference on the California grid.

Scoop: Trump lost the legal battle over halting the offshore Revolution Wind project after Orsted, its developer, brought reams of evidence to court alleging the government was lying about military security concerns.

It’s a sign truth can empower companies Trump targets.

City of #Boulder has concluded its mega #parking reform.

Parking minimums are now gone. So all those patches of 200 square feet that home-builders have been required to install at a cost of $30,000+ per space can now be used for other things like vegetable gardens, bike parking, and housing.

During peak demand in ERCOT, 3-4 GW of coal was unexpectedly offline. Not a problem at all because renewables met 50% of demand.

Widespread defiance of court orders, coupled with no pushback from Congress, this is a constitutional crisis that needs be addressed as such.
NEW: Trump and his appointees have been accused of flouting courts in a third of the more than 160 lawsuits against the admin in which a judge has issued a substantive ruling, WaPo found — suggesting widespread noncompliance with America's legal system. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

Huge demand, higher than forecast.
Unexpected outages at ‘fully dispatchable’ traditional power plants.
