As a LOL I do hate a lot of things about the US. It's been bad from the start in so many ways. And I am an anarchosyndicalist. I didn't ask to be born here but have a responsibility to do my best to help create a US worth loving.

Hardly anyone in power positions is peaceful. They should look to ordinary humans who are consistently kind and peaceful, and there are plenty of them. They just aren't power-hungry, so the representation among the famous is skewed.

I've noticed a creepy trend for pundits who correctly nail the Dems on class to incorrectly say they are "too progressive" on LGBTQ rights, repro rights, etc. As if we haven't had to drag the Dems kicking and screaming on all that as well. So I wondered.

I assume he's aware there's no afterlife. I don't believe in one and it seems like an iffy reason to be compassionate vs just caring about ppl during their one and only life. It would be fake/ self-serving to be "good" for a reward. But mb it would be better for us if narcissists believed it, idk

I love cilantro and found out a few yrs ago I have the soap gene... have never tasted actual soap and sometimes wonder if I should give it a try 😆. I've got some persimmon stuff that's supposed to ward off old person smell. It might be delicious

Wild also how many still trust CDC and FDA considering the dismantling of expertise at those orgs when peds no longer can. Surreal having to tell parents to disregard CDC and use AAP recs. Evidence they are not grokking our current reality.

Yeah she's right wing. Before the prize, she did an interview where she approved of trump blowing up a Venezuelan fishing boat and said he was "visionary." It's been surreal watching ppl here cheer for her.
