Would be a pleasure!
Really? That’s so ridiculous. I mean, if you want me to mention it to the main guy there Kieron I’m happy to do so. He told me once they only add standard sized paperbacks to their continual stock. (Great you’re reading mine, thanks! Which one?) I’m a fan by the way and ROF is on the shopping list!
You can do a meet the author event there with your new book which is a great way to get people talking about the subject, and engage with the buyers. Drop me a line if you need contact details.

🗓️ #OnThisDay in 1944, the Oradour-sur-Glane massacre was carried out. In Series 8, @pikerobert.bsky.social rages against the notion that the SS mistakenly targeted the village—they knew exactly what they were doing. #OTD

My book about Oradour-sur-Glane is called Silent Village. Available in Waterstones and elsewhere.
Thank you, I’ll take a look!
"An invaluable contribution to the literature [...] a readable, humane requiem, not just for Oradour, but for a whole way of French village life [...] Where he excels is in conveying a sense of it as beyond any normal human imagination or understanding."A Knapp

Jeez Britain. Wake up. There is no problem to which Nigel Farage is the answer.
Wake up Labour and remember who and what you’re meant to represent. @teamlabouruk.bsky.social
It was a real pleasure to attend the launch of Hanna Diamond’s new book ‘Josephine Baker’s Secret War’ at Yale University Press this evening. It’s a great book about a fascinating person, and Hanna (my PhD superviser) has done her subject proud. @hdiamond.bsky.social @yalebooks.bsky.social
I got this today and I’m so proud of my supervisor @hdiamond.bsky.social ! Such an exciting book. Trouble is I’ve been distracted from my thesis by reading it….. what a conundrum !
Just did a lovely little talk at a Probus club. There’s something about a village hall in the countryside which makes me feel calm. I’m always happy to talk about my work, no matter what size the group!

If you're around Wolverhampton, I popped in to @waterstones.bsky.social this morning to sign copies of Mary Tudor, Queen of France.
