Spent some time talking to people at Adobe about #Substance 3D. Think i'll need to take a class somewhere legit that I can get a .edu email... so I can use the full set of programs for free instead of $60 per month.
Do i know anybody here that uses it for VR game development (or anything else)?

I had a dream that all my favorite Demoscene folks (Haujobb, Future Crew, Farbrausch, Moppi, ASD) had a few shipping containers full of highspeed RAM & this giant purple and black ladybug w/ walls of GPUs sticking out of its' shell. They were arguing over who gets to shut the world off, wild stuff

was just visited by a bass dragon in my sub... I thought it was a massive cargo plane flying overhead... rattled my 300lb desk.
No damage so far, this may be a portent of something like karma telling me to stop looking at my studio and use it or lose it.

Feeling nostalgic for the old Casio keyboards that had stereo speakers and like a line or two of squishy rubber buttons that make for great fun.
I remember relying on the spaceship ones + crowd noise. Realize now that those bits kept me interested when my brain would have otherwise noped out.

Thinking about how we can have 96khz recordings, but generally can only hear up to 22k (much lower as you age).
Someone should put another whole album in the top section, that only becomes audible when you slow it wayyy dowwn

I remember when I first got a Boss SP-202... sampler, simple fx section. A 'performance sampler'. I put a distortion pedal in my pocket, ran a mic through it, strapped on loud cans & let the whole world get crushed, lifted, spun, twisted. I should do that again, before the snow keeps me in.
