When I was hired at Walmart (May 2000), there were formal training sessions in the Personnel room, followed by an "informal" session with Larry who was directed to urge anyone applying for Food Stamps etc to be sure they weren't wearing their new blue vest when they went into those offices.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

Yeah the low trust environment, blown open because of the likes of Sinema and Fetterman, not to mention other folks in the House, makes him an intolerable proposition in a big way and I get that sentiment because I also have it.
