The nice thing about Ryan Lizza is that you never wonder, "Why don't the many people who must love him and care deeply about his well-being talk to him about the self-destructive folly of a life devoted to revenge? Make him watch MUNICH or something."

My wife just laughed at a Batman/Not Bateman commercial. For months, whenever one of these has appeared, she’s said, “Oh God, this again,” but today, she laughed. This is what the holidays are all about.

Cynthia Erivo is on the parade route, singing “Feeling Good” with piano accompaniment. Every few notes, her voice breaks into a stutter or does a Donald Duck thing.This morning’s first major reminder that I am old is that I genuinely have no idea if this is a technical glitch or what the kids like.
