Just a reminder: there was a Biden administration investigation into Epstein and Maxwell's co-conspirators. Trump killed it in January, fired the prosecutors, stole the files, & ordered Bondi to open a new sham investigation, led by a handpicked prosecutor, so DOJ wouldn't have to release the files.

A reminder - last March, republicans promised to restore $1.1B in funding to DC in exchange for funding the government, and Mike Johnson never took it up in the House.

Another pardoned January 6 attacker arrested and charged with other, new felonies (in this case, kidnapping and sexual assault).

And don’t miss the part where he got caught firing off a gun on Jan. 6. You may recall the argument that it couldn’t have been an insurrection because it wasn’t armed.
A Trump supporter who fired off a gun during the 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol was arrested last month on kidnapping and sexual assault charges, according to the Cook County Sheriff’s Office in Illinois.

Astonishing how hard this administration is working to keep people hungry.
It's clear they are trying maximize public suffering, in hopes of getting people to blame Dems for that suffering. But it's transparently the White House working overtime to keep the suffering going!

Yikes. USDA sent threatening letter to states telling them that if they sent out EBT money —which many states did during the window when a lower court said SNAP funds had to be released—they have to take it back (?)
Trying to sort out what this means and if states even can claw back the funds

There is zero margin for error in our jobs. Showing up to work every day, not knowing when or if you'll be paid, is deeply unsettling.

Remember: the most they’re supposed to do, and only if they have particularized suspicion, is to ask a few questions to determine if there’s a crime afoot. Harangues, profanity, insults from protesters- that’s all first amendment protected and agents have to have thick skin.
Storm troopers. There must and will ultimately be accountability for this brutality.
The Oregon Department of Justice submitted multiple video exhibits showing federal officers using extreme force against nonviolent protesters outside the U.S. Immigration & Customs Building. This is part of its effort to block the federal deployment of National Guard troops to Portland.

One factory was contaminated with pigeon feces. At another, pathogens got into purified water used to produce drugs.

But when the FDA cites an errant factory, it conceals an important piece of information: the names of drugs made there.

The agency’s decision to conceal drug names on inspection reports has prevented doctors, pharmacists and patients from knowing whether medications made overseas are tainted by manufacturing failures t...

@phillies-therapy.com Why play for a tie? What do you think about that? What about running Wilson for Casty and Marchan for Bader? Does RT need to think outside the box more? (Charlie was pretty consistent “dance with the ones who brung you” but different era, better BP. Better hitters?)

@phillies-therapy.com Why Nola /Suarez piggyback? Can Nola blank the Dodgers even for a few innings?

So disappointed in Schwarber and Harper in particular among hitters.

More disappointing: BP or bats?

Dodgers are better, to a greater degree than I thought.

Declaring a fake emergency as an excuse to deploy the military to police civilians is one of the most canonical examples of authoritarian takeovers.

Overseas, people see clearly what Trump is doing. Here in America most people — especially those with power or influence — are in denial.
